Drilly wonka aka Chris Carvell's love for the Electronic started at an early age after attending Club Kinetic in Stoke from that point on my passion for music grew at an alarming rate! I got my first set of decks age 14 and they were shit! They had no pitch control and were battered but I didn't care! I started buying records financed by several paper rounds and set about learning to mix (Hard on decks with no pitch control!)
In the early days I was heavily into Jungle and started going raving in a big way, Hysteria, Helter Skelter, You know the score! The main turning point came when I attended Atomic jam in Birmingham for the first time and had my senses over loaded with a little thing called TECHNO! Things would never be the same again!
From then on Techno was all that mattered to me, I ate slept and shit it! About the same time I started dabbling in crafting my own music, a whole range of different sounds from Techno to industrial noise. These days I still enjoy mixing although Making my own music is a lot more important to me now. I hate genre's and just make music that I want to hear regardless of what anyone else thinks of it.....I don't care.
I just love Electronic music always......Get on it.....

Whilst starting to play the guitar in 1995/6 and at the tender age of 11 Meatsweeper got into Metallica in a big way & became hooked on the raw yet melodic driving sound. In 1997 it all changed and happy hardcore (the junglier side!) was on the walkman.
In 2000 after many years listening to the likes of Mark Eg, M Zone, Scorpio, and Producer he started Djing and going to club nights such as North, Species, Vibealite etc that played the harder edge of the scene, For the next 3 years he could be found playing a range of Hard Trance, Techno, Gabba, Hardcore Techno at free partys in his home town of Shrewsbury.
In 2003 Greg moved to Manchester for uni and was starting to play more breakcore driven hardcore and decided to get on the decks in a big way, after entering into a dj competition for a well known Liverpool night (Jasbof) he was given a residency playing alongside the likes of Dolphin, The Teknoist, Sickboy, Bong Ra and many other talented Djs/artists. Having met lots of inspirational people he has been engrossed ever since.
Meatsweeper is currently co running/promoting the club night SINDROME and alongside good friends Drilly Wonka and Kromazone is dedicated to trying to push the boundaries of the electronic underground. Djing and Producing many different styles in his solo work and his co project with drilly wonka “Meatdrill” there are hopefully good things to come in the future.
